Hi everyone!
So here it is, our final post. We thought it'd be great to finish things off right in Macquarie by visiting the Max Brenner in the shopping Centre. We tried out one of their pizza inspired desert dishes and boy was it great. Please give it a watch!

Ribs and Rumps Review
The Ribs and Rumps at Parramatta offers a large range succulent dishes for meat-lovers to crave for. Whilst we had our dinner there, we couldn’t help notice that the interior of the restaurant had an aurora and smell of various flavours of meat that you could smell. We only had 1 dish to eat that night. I, myself, had a full rack of pork ribs that burst-ed out with a strong marinade and barbecue flavour. The meat was tender and succulent; the taste was magnificent and every bite was worth savouring for. The atmosphere and servicescape felt really nice, but was missing out on something. The service itself was pretty standard, but the staff was always genuinely nice and engaged in casual conversation.

Amoretti’s Appetising Adventure
Amoretti is relatively an unknown Italian given its location in the Sydney’s far west. Despite this, the restaurant offers a variety of Italian cuisine ranging from pastas and risotto, such as linguini gamberetti and penne con piselli, to a range of pizza with standard and unique toppings. The food there was exquisitely delightful having a satisfying mix and combination of spices and sauces delivering a rich flavours that will have you craving for more. The pizza and pasta were cooked to perfection and had a decent proportion to eat. The food there was worth for what it costs.
The atmosphere at night is wonderful with a great view of a park and lake if you’re seated outside of the restaurant. The aesthetic of the restaurant feels like you’re fine dining and gives the appearance that you’re dining in an authentic Italian restaurant. The service there was standard, nothing to take note but they always ensured to take your plates as soon as they you finished and refilled your water at every chance. I hope to come return to this Italian restaurant.

Viet Town Restaurant Review

Yesterday me and my friends decided to eat in a Vietnamese Restaurant. We were in city so we went to a nearby Viet Restaurant named Viet Town. I was impressed by the coziness inside the restaurant.
From outside, the space looks small. However, when you stepped in the place, you would notice there are more tables and space than you thought. Viet Town has a cozy and warm environment. The menu offer a range of food. You can easily find most of the popular Viet food in here.
The staffs here are Vietnamese, their customer service is quite good. I have been to a few Vietnamese restaurant and I think this restaurant offers the best customer service so far.
The restaurant is located in city, near China Town so it is not too far from train station and bus stop.

Taste of Shanghai Reviews
Hi guys,
Today I am going to review a popular Chinese restaurant in Sydney - Taste of Shanghai
Taste of Shanghai serves classic Chinese meals and dumplings. They have a variety of dishes in their menu, I have to the way they created their menu is excellent. Every dish and drink has a display picture. I think it is very nice because as a customer, I like it when I can see the images of the food so I can 60% guess if that food tastes good or not. I usually have my meals in here because they have many meals for all breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have nice desserts as well.
The environment is overall nice and busy. It can be a little bit noisy during lunch and dinner time. I have been to Taste of Shanghai in Eastwood and Chatswood. In my opinion, I prefer it in Chatswood. Chatswood's Taste of Shanghai offers you a better-looking environment.
The customer service is average I would say. The food sometimes is served to you slowly. There was one time I needed to wait for more than 40 minutes, and some other customers even needed to wait for more than 1 hour. However, you can call them and order, then pick it up later if you want to save more time.
However, I would keep eating in this restaurant because they offer nice food and desserts.

Zaafran
Zaafran:
One of the best Indian Restaurants in Sydney for the location as well as quality of food is located on Darling harbour called Zaafran. Although the location does affect the prices but the food is worth the money. This restaurant has the option of dining inside as well as sitting outside with the view of the darling harbour, the restaurant has an excellent variety of choices of food.
This restaurant has a very wide range of north indian food, sea food and dessert and the options of different platters and the variety of banquets which make it a very attractive option for the customers to choose. The north Indian food is not bad, but the sea food and the quality of all the foods along with the presentation gives you very classy feeling while having food.
Verdict : 4 out of 5

Lunch at Sokyo
Arguably one of the best Japanese restaurant located in the country, Sokyo houses some of the best fine and exquisite food Sydney has to offer. Our first dish, the entree, we had to eat were pacific oysters that were very succulent in taste and fresh in sight. The plum wine and lime granite sauce that came with it tasted odd but were a delight to experience! We had also ordered salmon ssamjang along with our oysters that had shisho, ginger and ssamjang dressing. The combination had a satisfying crunch and a rich aura and smell of delight.
Our last two dishes were lamb chops with black garlic eggplant puree and basil as well as beef robata. The beef robata are beef short ribs that were slowly cooked over 24 hours. The texture was perfect and succulent and cooked to perfection. The caramelized and crispy e shallots with black pepper umami created a marinade and taste that is unreplicable and unique while the lamb chops is more or less the same
The atmosphere is wonderful located within the Sydney's The Star with an amazing view as well as wonderful service. We hope to come back soon.

Brazilian BBQ is a buffet style restaurant offering the best BBQ meats Brazilian
cuisine has to offer. From a range of Beef, Chicken, lamb and pork selections,
diners will be treated to all kinds of wings, skewers and rumps right in their
own seat. Also, available are hot chips and salads to go along with the savoury
foods.
Unlike traditional

servers always happy to bring whatever seconds, thirds or fourths you desire.

Mamak Malaysian Restaurant Chatswood Review
Hi guys,
I am writing this post is for reviewing a Malaysian Restaurant in Chatswood - Mamak. I think this restaurant is a very popular Malaysian Restaurant in Sydney. They offer great food, great service and great environment!! Definitely recommended.
I have never thought I would love malaysian food until I ate in Mamak. If you ever go to Mamak, the first thing you must try is the Original Roti (Roti Canai). Basically, it is a Malaysian styled pancake. It is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The pancake is served with 3 different sauces - 2 curry dips and 1 spicy sambal sauce (as seen below).
The service in here only can be described with the word excellent. I can see that they care about the customers. One thing made me impressed was the staffs were actually lowered their knees a little when they took orders. I felt that they really respected their customers.
Their environment is cozy and warm, I always like this type of restaurant environment. The restaurant seems to look small, but they have plenty of seats and tables inside.
However, there is one thing that does annoy me a bit from Mamak is that whenever I ate there and left the restaurant, my body and clothes smells like food. If you have been to eat at any indoor BBQ restaurants, you would understand. That's the reason why now I prefer to take away food from Mamak, than to sit and eat in there.

Sushi Rio Review
Hi guys,
This post is a review about Sushi Rio - a sushi restaurant located in Sydney CBD. This is my all time favourite sushi store in Sydney. I have tried some sushi restaurants but I always came back to this one. I love everything in here, from the variety of sushi to customer service, and environment.
What is better than to chill out in front of a train filled out of tasty sushi dishes? One good thing about this restaurant is that ALL type of sushi dishes only costs $3 per plate. You would definitely notice the poster stating the price before you enter the shop. Unlike other sushi stores where some sushi dishes are more expensive than others, Sushi Rio serves sushi plates that are all at equal cost.
The staffs are Japanese and they are very friendly. They also serve drinks and food very quickly. Whenever have guests enter or leave the restaurant, all of the staffs would say "Hello" and "Goodbye" in Japanese to show politeness. Actually, this scene is quite usual in all Japanese restaurants. I really appreciate it.

Jellyfish and shark fin sushi
I always wonder about the amount of shark fin they put in here, definitely just a little, but I still love the stuff
Salmon Tobiko
You can see how beautiful the salmon roe is.. However, I do not really like this stuff, it tastes weird in my mouth, but if you like fish roe then it should be an ideal dish for you.
Fresh sliced sashimi
The salmon in here is always served fresh and the colour looks vibrant. One time, I got to see how the chef cut the salmon, the chef's knife skill is very good. If you are lucky, you would get to see it too!
This dish is mushroom salad (this is how I call it). Basically, it is cooked with mushroom, chilli, onion and salad greens. I love eating mushrooms so this is one of my favourite dishes in here.
I love to eat at sushi train restaurant because while eating, I can see how the chefs prepare and make sushi. I feel enjoying watching it. I can see how careful you have to be to make a sushi. It's awesome!

Afternoon Tea at Park Hyatt Sydney
Hi guys,
I am a tea lover and I drink tea almost every day. I have been many tearooms that offer high teas to try and chat with my friends. Two weeks ago, my friends and I decided to go to Park Hyatt Sydney to have an afternoon tea.
Park Hyatt Sydney is located next to Sydney Habour Bridge. It offers high tea everyday from 2:30PM to 5:00PM. Afternoon tea at Park Hyatt Sydney offers finger sandwiches, warm scones served with jam and cream, a selection of cakes, tartlets and macaroons. You can choose to order a pot of tea, or you can have a glass of Champagne.
The staffs are friendly and polite. I especially love the customer service in here.
While having tea, you can enjoy the view from the tearoom. It offers a very great view, you can see the Sydney Opera House very clearly from here.

Dae Jang Kum Chatswood Restaurant
Hi guys,
Today I will write a review about another korean restaurant I've recently found! My friends took me there last week and while eating, I was thinking I must write a review about this restaurant. I have been living in Chatswood for more than one year but I had not noticed this restaurant (because it is located on level 1 of a building so it was not easy to find).
The retaurant environment is cozy and romantic at night. One big bonus for this restaurant is that it has a few karaoke rooms and pool tables available for guests to play. I've never been to the karaoke rooms but I heard they have a large variety of songs for you to sing.
The staffs here are friendly and helpful which is another reason I love about this place. I can not handle places that provide me bad customer service.
Dae Jang Kum also has a great selection of meals (korean). This is one of a few korean restaurants that provide customers quite nice and good selection of side dishes. Their prices are also reasonable. For example, a bowl of soup (for 1-2 person) would cost around $12, a plate of 5 cheese sticks costs $9.

Kim Chi soup with Pork
I have tried another amazing Korean drink. It is PLUM WINE. It tastes like plum juice cocktail (I am not sure, that's what it tastes like for me).

However, there is one thing I dislike about this restaurant is that the toilet needs KEY to access (it is very annoying).. Whenever you need to use the restroom, you need to take the key from their reception to unlock the door. Otherwise, everything else is excellent.

Holy Basil
Located in the heart of Sydney's Vietnam district, Holy Basil is a famed and critically acclaimed Thai and Laos restaurant within Western Sydney's Canley Heights. Holy Basil started off as a small restaurant that struggled to maintain its business but with sheer mastery of food and flavours, they managed to attract a crowd with their fresh and exotic cuisine and dining, bringing an enormous attention across Sydney.
Their Pad Thai is rich full of flavours and with a variety and mixture of spices that blend brilliantly when you chew. The Thai beef salad also proved and pulled off a zesty flavour that I have not seen replicated and manages to have a fresh and crispy crunch when taking a bite.
The atmosphere is also worth noting in that servicescape comes off as welcoming and warm whilst their staff are friendly and engaging.

Govinda
Govinda
The Govinda's is one of the most innovative Indian vegetarian restaurant in Sydney , this is a very different atmosphere which we are used to while we dine out and a treat for vegetarians. The food is average consisting of all types of Indian vegetarian , the restaurant hosts different events for spirituality, movies etc all in the same place and thus makes it innovative , the best part of the restaurant which many may, even though the menu is a bit of struggle for the vegan community as most of the dishes are made of ghee which is a milk product and thus are left with no options in some conditions and thus may be very unadvisable for vegans , it is more targeted for indian vegetarian society as they eat milk products , the offers are quite tempting like the unlimited food and a movie for a 30 dollar coupon makes it value for money for the people who enjoy this cuisine as the food varieties are quite generous and unlimited option makes it a cherry on top.
Verdict : 3.75
The ratings were more for the deal and innovation as the food was average.

SaravanaBhavan
My next post is for the vegetarian readers , and is of one of the best new restaurant franchise to open in Sydney , there was a big pressure on this branch due to its reputation of being a vegetarian heaven for the customers. The menu is limited but well balanced for a person who loves vegetarian Madrasi style South Indian food, for those who are not familiar with Madrasi food, comprises of dosa and idli and different types of rice varieties, sambhar, rasam etc with a bar inside the restaurant which is something uncommon in its other restaurants.
This restaurant ambience is a step above other restaurants in Sydney as it is not cramped with many tables and very simple yet elegant decor which is very rarely seen in any other Sydney vegetarian only restaurants unlike the other franchise Dosa Plaza.
The Restaurant which resides along with the other famous restaurants on Phillip Street which is next to the famous Church Street where it is very difficult to perform and requires skill to even survive with such a limited menu has done well to attract hordes of crowd and still give a very pleasurable climate to the customers.
I had visited the franchise restaurant in various countries and had always walked out with a smile very time and was expecting the same here and was pleasantly surprised to get a better service from an already very high expectation.
Verdict: Rating : 4.5

Maharaja
Maharaja :
My post is all about an Indian restaurant in Norwest shopping centre next to the norwest lake, which is in the North West suburb of Sydney in the Norwest business park and is the closest you can get to the food back in India , due to
the flavours and taste of the food while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake which we dan see on the picture below.
Layout:
The layout of the restaurant is so elegant, and clever that we get to see the bread get prepared in front of us and therefore makes quite an experience for the customers.
Meal options:
They have a variety of meal options which are unique as compared to the other Indian restaurants with a 3 or 4 course meal and various option of meals for minimum 2 people.
Dessert :
The Dessert options are very generous in the number of options and the variety of drinks in the bar.
Verdict :
The Verdict is that the restaurant is a beautiful place for food and that the food also complements the location and hence I would rate the restaurant a healthy 4 out of 5

Izakaya Arigato review
Izakaya Arigato is a Japanese and Korean Food Restaurant located in Chatswood. I've never tried the Japanese food in this restaurant but I've been here a few times to have some Korean dishes. I personally really like the environment in this restaurant. It has a small, cozy and warm interior with yellow lighting, and a relaxing outside area. The noise levels are perfect, you never need to shout over other people. The area is quite small, it can fit up to around 50 guests but booking in advance is never needed. One more thing I love about this place is that the staffs here are very friendly. However, there is one important think you should know is that English is not their first language to most of the staffs, so your order should be clear, slow and simple to ensure there would be no mistakes.
I usually go there with my friends on the weekend to eat a hotpot, some side dishes and drink soju. If you don't know what Soju is and you've never drunk it before, you must try it one day! Soju is a South Korea branded alcohol. It is considered as "Korea's most popular alcoholic beverage". Soju is clear and colorless. The alcohol content varies from 16.7% to 45%, but in my opinion, 19% is just right.
The first dish I would review is Korea Fish Cake soup (Koreans call it Eomuk-Guk). I personally like to have clear and hot soups in general, I cook soups for myself almost every meal during a day. So this Fish Cake soup matches my taste so much, I love it. Especially in this rainy and cold weather, I think having a hot soup is the best thing to keep you warm and make you feel good. Fish Cake Soup is actually an easy recipe, I will definitely try to cook it at home later. Basically, this soup is a clear soup consist of Korean fish cake, white radish, green onion, red chilli pepper and seaweed.
Soju is drunk in a shot glass

Fish Cake Soup is excellent to have in rainy and cold days
The next dish I am going to review is Corn Cheese. Corn Cheese is a popular side dish in korean restaurants. Some people find this food is really easy to get sick of, but I love it. The melted cheese and unsalted butter with the sweet corn taste very delicious.
However, Corn Cheese is high in calories and fat so I don't recommend this food to people who are on diet
The last food is just an extra. This is not a dish.
This is a plate of peach slides in ice sugar water. I think the peach slides are canned-fruits, but I am not sure. They taste firm and very sweet.
This is the end of my review. I definetely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Korean food and prefer a quiet space to eat and chill with friends.

Thai Benja
Hello again!
Excuse the bombardment of posts but we were just so excited about this restaurant that we had to write about it immediately.
Located in the heart of Blacktown, Thai Benja brings to the local community a vast array of traditional and authentic Thai food. With an option to dine in, takeaway of have food delivered, customers will have no problem getting the food to their mouths.
For the entrée there is a delicious selection of small savoury dishes including spring rolls, soft shell crabs and Tom Kha. Each as tasty as the next. However, the main is really where the money's at. On offer are typical Thai dishes such as Pad Thai and Pad See ew which are cooked in a way that really no other restaurant can compare. Each mouthful will have you watering. Served with rice, customers can also order from their range of BBQ meat or their curry menu. The Tom Yum is also the perfect balance of sweet and sour and the pork belly is to die for.
If the main hasn't filled you up already there is also a dessert selection containing fried ice cream and cool drinks such as Thai milk tea. Overall the restaurant is fantastic with food that is exceptional and a relaxing warm ambiance. It gets a nod from us over here at Macqaurie.

El Jannahs
Hi Guys!
Today it is my pleasure to write about one of Sydney's most promising food franchises; the famed El Jannahs. Starting off as a small family business in Granville's CBD in 1998 it has grown to expand across another two stores located in Blacktown and Punchbowl. Customers can choose to eat in or takeaway and are always greeted with smiles from the warm staff. It's offerings have gained quite a following among Sydney residents with people travelling from all over the city just to have a taste.
On the menu is a delicious range of charcoal chicken and Lebanese cuisine along with mouth watering sides and it's legendary garlic sauce. With a range of individual and family meals it is no problem to find something for you. The chicken is always cooked to perfection with just the right amount of smokiness while the fries are always served generously with chicken salt. The garlic sauce family recipe is served with each meal and offers a unique creamy blend that is sure to leave your mouth satisfied.
El Jannahs ticks all our boxes here at Macquarie. The food is impeccable and with affordable prices and generous servings we can be confident that this will become a frequent destination for us.

Our blog will review various restaurants, cafe, bars, diners and street shops all around Sydney's metropolitan in search of Sydney's best dishes and food as well as informing our fans of what we think and whether these restaurants can deliver satisfaction, culture, atmosphere, and, of course, quench our thirst and cure our hunger!
